HK city tour~~~

yum cha place!

dim sum!!!

On the second day at hkust, i met a new friend, a friend of nixon, who went to exchange in NUS before, Cecilia. She is our tour guide for the day, a very nice person, who never run out of topics i think! hehe... So our first stop of the day, YUMCHA at Prince Edward(tai ji)... the food was okay... like the ngau3 zai2 (牛仔)very much! slurp~~~

After yumcha, off we go to tsim sha zui... exploring the city on mainland! very very dense it is... and hmmmm perfectly the tvb drama scenes that i always see... the 招牌 extending onto the streets, with the not so new buildings cramped together... and we walked to the seafront, from there we had a magnificent view of hong kong island... but on that day, mist heavily covers the skyscrapers. and at the tsim sha zui pier, we hopped onto the ferry of hong kong! woohoo...

and off we sail to hong kong island... even more clamped... denser than what you can imagine...skyscrapers neighboring each other... and do note... not even a flat i see in the island is shorter than 30 storeys... awesome! and like cecilia said, everything is really mixed up in hk... LV Gucci Prada shop next to espirit giordano uniqlo neighboring the very nice wet market around! awesome!

its really really so tired after walking round so many places... and how wonderful things can be when cecilia brought us to her mother's shop to have dinner... 咖喱牛腩。。。牛腩面。。。萝卜汤。。。鲜虾云吞。。。slurp slurp! ITS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

we wandered around... in sogo i stopped at Polo RL... trying out the shirts... luckily that the shirts are not right for me, as in the design i want does not fit me well, and the ok but not striving for it design suites me well! hahahaha... or else, blah... will go broke!

after that, we hopped onto the trem! yes! the old colonial british trems! cooooooool! and tada... the best part... night view from victoria peak! the pictures say it all!

me and nixon feel that its very singapore in terms of its MTR... buses... but i do really think that HK do have the extra 人情味... listening to the people around me speaking in canto gives me a very 熟悉的感觉,很真... it makes me feel that this place is really chinese~~~ more warmth... more comfy...
