A Perfect Getaway

Feeling tired, and without much anticipation, me weijie and soonhui, together we planned to cycle around the beautiful place of the east. Its a beautiful Saturday, how? Why? Look at the pictures, find it for yourself!

Its kind of a feeling, a feeling of escaping from the suffocating uni life, a feeling of leasing the tension along with the glamorous waves at the beach, yeah... its the feeling of getaway. Not a posh holiday in the paradise of Maldives, not a glamorous shopping trip in Paris, its just merely cycling along the park connectors at ECP, indulging in the wonderful sunset sceneries by the beach, enjoying the joy spread out from families who are having the whole world of fun with their spouse and kids, feeling sweet and romantic for lovely couples jogging by the sandy beach, holding hands... a scene of love and romance, and last but not least, the most wonderful part i would say for the day, is the 30-minute-talk by the beach, close to midnight, wonderful night port view, with the airplanes still soaring above us and the waves hitting on the shore, serene... tranquil... sitting on the sandy beach after our late dinner, not to say we were talking heart to heart, but at least its a comfortable one, its not a game of avoiding boms, its not a fake fake show, its nothing but just some really comfortable chat that havent come across me for quite some time. We didnt talk much, i guess... but it did, dont know for what reason, bring me to some place, where i can temporarily live to be myself... its like my anxiety got swept away by the swirling waves going off shore, my stress got carried away by the planes taking off, soaring into the skies... its just.. phew... 舒服la~~~

Liked this place very much, and of course will continue to like it... heh... a tiny bit of land in Singapore which is stress-free, a place where no high rise will block the skies... a place where you can find fresh air to breath in, a place where you can dump your anxiety along with the swirling waves and soaring planes... a place perfect for a GETAWAY!!! In Mandarin, no doubt, its 世外桃源，yes, at least it is in Singapore!!!
